About this role

The Staff Selection Commission is recruiting Junior Engineers for central government departments including CPWD, Central Water Commission, Border Roads Organisation and Military Engineer Services. CPWD posts accept a 3 year Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with no experience requirement, so this is directly open to fresh diploma holders. Around 1,748 vacancies are on offer across departments and disciplines. Pay is Group B Level 6, Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month plus allowances.

Upper age limit: 30 years for most posts, 32 years for CPWD, as on 01.08.2026.
