About this role

Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited, a group company of Indian Oil, has invited applications for 60 non executive posts in refinery operations. The split is Production 40, Mechanical 10, Electrical 5 and Instrumentation 5. Eligibility is a 3 year Diploma in the relevant discipline with minimum 60 percent aggregate, relaxed to 55 percent for SC and PwBD candidates against reserved posts. Starting basic pay is Rs. 25,000 per month on the IDA scale of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 1,05,000.

Maximum age: 30 years as on 01.07.2026, with relaxation up to 15 years for eligible reserved categories.
Written test is tentatively scheduled for September or October 2026.
