How an Engineer’s Love Built a Kitchen Icon | The Sumeet Mixie Story | #ISTCKonnect
Not all inventions happen in labs—some start in kitchens!
This Valentine’s Day, we step away from our Accidental Invention series to celebrate an engineer who literally grinded for his better half! 😆
In the 1960s, Satya Prakash Mathur saw his wife struggling with a blender that couldn’t handle Indian masalas. Instead of just watching, he did what any great engineer would—he built a solution! 🔧✨ That solution became Sumeet Mixie, an iconic kitchen appliance that revolutionized Indian households.
For ISTCians who spent Valentine’s Days in the workshop, let’s just hope things are smoother now than they were for alumni! 😜
