Structure of the courses
The first year of training is common across all four courses. Based on merit in the entrance exam, candidates exercise their course choice at the time of admission. After the common first year, the trainee pursues specialised training in either the mechanical stream or the electronics stream for the next two years.
For the two Advanced Diploma courses, this is followed by a further year of advanced training on specialised machines and equipment as per industry need. The medium of instruction is English.
For complete details on each course including workshop practice, laboratory work, and semester-wise theory subjects, see the individual course pages linked above.
