Aditya Kumar, from the Mechatronics & Industrial Automation program at Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC), CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh, has secured placement at ISGEC Heavy Engineering Ltd.
ISGEC is one of India’s established engineering companies, with work spanning heavy engineering, manufacturing systems, industrial solutions, process equipment, and infrastructure.
Aditya’s placement reflects the growing relevance of mechatronics and industrial automation in modern engineering environments. Students trained in automation systems, industrial controls, mechanical systems, electronics integration, and applied technical fundamentals are increasingly finding opportunities across core industries.
At ISTC, students learn through workshops, machines, industrial systems, laboratory exposure, and hands-on technical practice. This practical approach helps students understand how engineering systems work in real environments, not only in theory.
The Mechatronics & Industrial Automation program combines mechanics, electronics, automation, controls, sensors, actuators, and industrial systems into a structured technical learning pathway.
Aditya’s journey adds to the growing list of placement stories from the outgoing ISTC batches, where students are securing opportunities across automotive, automation, electronics, healthcare, tooling, manufacturing, and industrial engineering sectors.
Admissions for Session 2026–27 are currently open at ISTC for students looking to begin their technical careers after Class 10.
