Manan, from the Mechatronics & Industrial Automation program at Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC), CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh, has secured placement with Godrej in Mohali.
His placement is especially meaningful because Mohali and the wider Chandigarh region have been steadily growing as an important industrial and technology hub in North India. For ISTC students, opportunities in this region allow them to contribute to industry while staying connected to the larger ecosystem around Chandigarh.
Godrej is one of India’s most respected industrial groups, with a long presence across manufacturing, engineering, appliances, security solutions, industrial systems, consumer products, and allied sectors. A placement with Godrej reflects the relevance of practical technical skills in established industrial environments.
Manan’s journey highlights the growing demand for students trained in Mechatronics & Industrial Automation, where mechanical systems, electronics, automation, controls, sensors, industrial equipment, and systems integration come together.
At ISTC, students learn through machines, laboratories, workshops, automation setups, industrial systems, and hands-on technical practice. This helps them develop the confidence needed to enter real engineering environments from the beginning of their professional journey.
His placement adds to the continuing record of students from the outgoing ISTC batches securing opportunities across automotive, manufacturing, automation, electronics, healthcare, tooling, industrial engineering, and regional industrial sectors.
Admissions for Session 2026–27 are currently open for students looking to begin practical engineering careers after Class 10.
