Gaurav Attri, from the 2009 batch of Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC), currently works with Brain Domain, Singapore. Brain Domain was founded by fellow ISTCian Sandeep Sharma from the 1986 batch.
In his interaction, Gaurav spoke about why joining ISTC can become one of the best decisions for a technically inclined student.
According to him, one of ISTC’s greatest strengths is its focus on basics and practical knowledge rather than theory alone. After more than a decade in industry, he has seen that people whose fundamentals are clear are able to adapt, grow, and move ahead across roles and technologies.
His message connects two generations of ISTCians: one who founded a global technology business, and another who continues to contribute within that ecosystem.
This story reflects the strength of the ISTCian network and the long-term value of technical education rooted in fundamentals, workshops, practical exposure, and disciplined learning.
