Rajvir Singh, from the 1981 batch of the Die & Mould stream at Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC), is now based in Perth, Australia, where he is associated with the education system within a State Department.
In his message, he reflected on the excellence of learning at ISTC and the long-term value of the strong technical foundation built during his time at the institute.
His story represents the wider legacy of ISTCians across generations. From workshops in Chandigarh to professional roles around the world, ISTC alumni continue to contribute across engineering, education, manufacturing, technology, and industry.
Rajvir Singh also recommended ISTC to new students and wished them success as they begin their technical journey.
As ISTC moves through its seventh decade, such alumni reflections show that the institute’s impact is not limited to first placements. Strong fundamentals, practical discipline, and technical confidence continue to support careers over decades.
