Khushi Saini, from the Mechatronics & Industrial Automation program at Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC), CSIR-CSIO Chandigarh, has secured placement at Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL).
Her placement reflects the growing importance of practical technical education and industry-oriented engineering training in modern industrial environments.
The Mechatronics & Industrial Automation program at ISTC combines mechanics, electronics, industrial automation, controls, sensors, systems integration, and hands-on practical learning into a structured technical pathway.
Students at ISTC are trained not only through classroom learning, but also through workshops, industrial systems, laboratory exposure, machines, and real technical practice. This practical orientation continues to help ISTC students transition confidently into engineering and manufacturing roles.
Khushi’s placement adds to the growing list of placement stories emerging from the outgoing ISTC batches, where students are securing opportunities across automotive, automation, manufacturing, electronics, healthcare, tooling, and industrial engineering sectors.
