Why a fourth year
Dies and moulds are the tooling behind almost every mass-produced metal and plastic part: car panels, appliance bodies, bottle caps, phone housings. Making them needs very high precision. The fourth year gives advanced training on specialised machines and equipment in line with industry needs, according to the 2026 brochure.

Is this course AICTE approved?
Yes. The 2026 Information Brochure states that all ISTC courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
What is the eligibility?
Class 10 passed with Mathematics, Science and English, with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST). Candidates awaiting their Class 10 result can apply.
How is the course allotted?
By rank in the ISTC entrance exam merit list at counselling. When a course fills up, the next candidates can choose only from courses that still have seats.
