Scholarships, Freeships and Loans at ISTC

ISTC students can access a limited number of merit-cum-means stipends and freeships, government post-matric scholarships for SC, ST, OBC and minority students, institute-listed scholarships, and collateral-free education loans through the PM-Vidyalaxmi scheme.

  • Stipends and freeships: the 2026 brochure states that a limited number are available on merit-cum-means basis.
  • Post-matric scholarships: for SC, ST, OBC and minority community students, under government schemes. Apply through the National Scholarship Portal or your state portal as applicable.
  • Institute scholarships: ISTC lists named scholarships on its scholarships page.
  • PM-Vidyalaxmi: a Government of India scheme for education loans. Details at pmvidyalaxmi.co.in.

Keep income and category certificates current. Most schemes need them at the start of each academic year.
